Split

Split, the largest city on the Dalmatian Coast, is a unique blend of ancient and modern. It's renowned for Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which embodies the city's rich history dating back over 1,700 years. The city's name derives from a shrub with beautiful yellow flowers, known as the Spanish or weaver's broom. Split boasts the world's oldest Catholic Cathedral, St. Domnius, originally built as Diocletian’s mausoleum. The city is also celebrated for its culinary heritage, vibrant shopping scene, and as a filming location for the TV series "Game of Thrones". Hvar (Jelsa)

Jelsa is known for its sporting traditions, including a successful rowing club and an annual handball training camp led by Croatian legend Ivano Balic. The 'Za Krizen' procession, inscribed as UNESCO intangible heritage, has been a tradition for over 500 years on Maundy Thursday. Hvar (Vrboska)

Split to Hvar
