Split
Split, the largest city on the Dalmatian Coast, is a unique blend of ancient and modern. It's renowned for Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which embodies the city's rich history dating back over 1,700 years. The city's name derives from a shrub with beautiful yellow flowers, known as the Spanish or weaver's broom. Split boasts the world's oldest Catholic Cathedral, St. Domnius, originally built as Diocletian’s mausoleum. Hvar (Jelsa)
