Arrival to Zagreb and hotel check-in. The winterly Zagreb is both known as the only capital city in the world with a ski world cup race and for its extraordinary Advent season. We suggest that you take a short break and then go for a stroll through the city. Several Advent events will be taking place in Ban Jelačić Square, the city's central square.
Then rent a pair of ice skates and try them out at the Ice Park – an ice-skating rink on King Tomislav Square. Listen to the good music playing in the background and smell and taste a variety of culinary delights. Maybe you could perform a spectacular pirouette and show off in a magical idyll on ice! Afterwards, treat yourself to an assortment of exquisite food and drinks and sip mulled wine that will keep you warm.
Fuliranje is the most original Advent event in town. Over the last years, over one million visitors enjoyed numerous concerts, musical events, DJ events, street performances and exhibitions. It was the first event to present the best restaurant and winery owners from Croatia and many more creative and original exhibitors.

Afternoon at leisure. You can visit some of Advent’s venues. A rich offer of concerts, attractions and exhibitions – on par with other European cities – makes this place a must-see location for all those looking for good time.
Advent at Stross will provide daily entertainment for all generations. We are confident that all of you who decide to visit one of the most romantic corners of the old Upper Town in Zagreb will want to stay for hours and enjoy great food, craft beer, wine, mulled wine and many special Advent delicacies
The central motif of the Advent design at Stross is gingerbread, so there will be gingerbread of all kinds and shapes on display along the promenade and on 30-something Christmas trees made of wood and mounted along the ramparts.
After breakfast at the hotel start the tour to the magnificent Plitvice Lakes. Every season of the year brings with itself a different spectacle for the senses at the Plitvice Lakes. The Plitvice Lakes are famous for their 16 cascading lakes that form a gorgeous ring of water. The stunning scenery in the park was created by the flow of water over limestone that over time created travertine barriers that resulted in waterfalls, lakes, and caves.
The Park was designated a national park in 1949 and in 1979 UNESCO entitled it a World Heritage Site. Nature could freeze over but, despite of that, enjoy the wonders of nature, an astonishing view, clean air, nature’s sounds and the sheer joy of just being somewhere so vast and diverse. Standing there, you can really say you have become one with nature. Plitvice National Park can rightfully be called the most magnificent place in all of Europe. Lunch at a local restaurant on your own. Continue the walks through the park and forest and enjoy the beauty surrounding you. Expected return to Zagreb at 19.00.
The tallest waterfall of Plitvice National Park and to many the most impressive one has an unimpressive name. It is simply called the Great Waterfall (at 78 m).
