Spending three days surrounded by nature, tasting local specialities and getting acquainted with the culture and customs of Croatian countryside region of Hrvatsko Zagorje is certainly something you must consider if you're looking for an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! From the top at approximately 300 m above sea level, there is a stunning view of the surrounding Zagorje hills dotted with houses, wine cellars and small churches.

The Vuglec Breg tourist village is the embodiment of the creative vision of the Vuglec family who want their ancestors' heritage to have lasting value.

The estate of Vuglec Breg stretches over 12 hectares. You can enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding hills dotted with houses, cottages and churches from the house situated on a small hill.

The estate itself boasts a number of autochthonous Zagorje region houses (hiža) converted into accommodation for tourists. Along the houses, there is a restaurant situated next to the vineyard and a pergola, a wine cellar and a seminar hall.

On the estate, you can visit a horse barn, walk around lawns and walking trails with a little pond, have some recreation on two tennis courts and two five-a-side football fields.

Each of the houses has been upgraded and renovated in a traditional style with a unique and simple interior design. There is a restaurant next to the house, while a grill gazebo, bread oven and summer terrace are located in front of the vineyard. There you will also find a horse stable, a small lake, 2 tennis and futsal courts, a children's playground, lawns and walking trails.

Before dinner, treat yourself (payment on spot) to some home-made rakija (fruit brandy), such as šljivovica (made from plums), travarica (made from herbs), lozovača (made from grapes) and many other types at the Pelnica bar, which is located in the restaurant.
