Hvar is well known as the sunniest island in Croatia with 2718 sunny hours per year. But that’s not the thing that solely places it among the top summer destinations in the world. Known as the island of wine, Hvar is famous for its great restaurants, which, in addition to a tasty menu, also offer a secure berth for yachts and sail ships of the nautical aficionados. It is situated in a bay on the southwest coast of the island, facing the sun and the sea it offers you the most memorable sunsets you will never forget. But it’s not all about the sunsets, there is something about the dawns also, and it can be easily experienced by dancing till the morning comes.
Fly into Split. Depending on your flight schedule, your driver will meet you at the exit of the arrival area at Split Airport and take you to the port where you will take the fast catamaran ride to get to Hvar. Upon arrival, your host will meet you at the port and take you to your accommodation. Check-in and freshen up.
After the stress is taken off the menu, meet your local guide and, in a relaxed walking guided tour, explore the beautiful architecture and surroundings of this Adriatic gem.
After the tour, you will already be familiar with the town, and the guide can give you a recommendation for a nice dinner - you just need to choose between traditional and modern type restaurant. Whichever you choose, you will surely enjoy the freshness of the local ingredients and love how the chefs combine different aromas.
Evening at your leisure. Overnight in Hvar.
After breakfast, relax at the beach or just explore the town on your own. Do not miss the morning coffee at “Pjaca”, mandatory local routine. In the afternoon go to a half-day excursion to learn more about Hvar’s fabulous food and wine story. On your way to one of the Hvar winemakers and passing the picturesque old road through historic villages such as Brusje and Selca, you will enjoy views of lavender fields, olive groves, and vineyards. The winery visit is followed by dinner at a secret location (in an olive grove, abandoned village, or in a private household) with an experienced chef.
This gastro tour can be a great introduction for a long night ahead. The best way to end the day in Hvar is to go dancing until sunrise, especially if there is a full moon. Walking through the narrow streets of the city centre, you will find lots of bars, terraces with D.J.s and clubs with lots of happy people. You can even ride the free taxi boats that are docked on the “riva” and you can feel the colours of Hvar’s nightlife at a beach bar on a private island.
Overnight in Hvar.
After a tasty breakfast, put your swimsuits on, take your favourite beach towel and other summer accessories you need, and make sure you don’t forget your sunscreen, as we are taking you to a speedboat tour. From the moment you embark the vessel, you will be enchanted by the sea cliffs and the views of the horizon.
First you will visit the Green Cave, a must stop on all the speedboat tours visiting the Vis archipelago, where you will get a chance to swim and enjoy the emerald light show.
After reaching Biševo island and its famous Blue Cave, you will disembark from the speedboat again, but this time into the Blue Cave’s dinghy which will take you directly inside the cave. During peak season there will be a queue, so please be patient and be prepared to wait up to 30 minutes or more until one of the boats is available. The shuttle ride takes about 20 min. The best time to visit Blue Cave is between 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. when the sun rays create a magnificent aquamarine light that bathes the inside of the cave and turns white objects into silver.
Please note that the itinerary is dependable upon weather conditions. Blue cave can be closed for visiting due to the weather conditions (high tide or big waves).
Besides the marvellous caves, you will discover a lot of picturesque hidden inlets, like Stiniva. In the early afternoon hours, you will cruise to a recently opened tavern situated in the Milna bay, whose interior and exterior rely on a super modern soft nature concept. This is the new place to be on the island.
Upon arrival, you will feel the tempting smells of the finest local food of Hvar Island procured and prepared by the in-house Chef.
Pamper yourself with a lunch made from local ingredients.
On our way back to Hvar town, skipper will take you swimming and snorkelling or just sunbathing and relaxing in one of the many hidden bays and lagoons of the Paklini islands archipelago.
After returning to Hvar town, go straight to the Hula Hula beach bar. The Hula Hula Hvar is a synonym for Hvar's beach dance floor that will leave you breathless with its unforgettable sunset views, grooviest music, and amazing people! You can enjoy the lounge beach atmosphere with dance and house music, sunbeds, VIP tables and cabanas. If you would like, we can make the sunbed reservation in advance. Evening at your leisure.

Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Depending on your flight schedule, and if you have a free morning before departing, check out the Green Market. A lively fruit and vegetable outdoor market is a great place to see how the locals shop and to pick up some fresh fruits for your way back.
